This delivers a much harder workout than expected! You walk at a constant incline. The belt moves a lot easier than I thought it would. I've had electric treadmills before and am so glad I purchased this manual one. It's a lot easier to move and store and I just like the workout better than an electric one. The setup wasn't too bad, but the screws and bolts thread pretty hard, which is why the 4 stars on the overall rating. I had to crank on them pretty hard to get them started. I've only had it 3 days, but so far so good!
This treadmill is harder than it looks... it is on an incline that does not adjust, so you will be walking uphill for your entire workout. The belt is very narrow and I cracked the plastic side when I stepped down on it. The belt does not move in a fluid motion like the electric ones, but this one will give you a workout and it does move around for storage quite a bit easier than the big electric ones do.

I am LOVING! this treadmill. I've been using it almost every day. This is my first "home" equipment and the convenience is well worth it. Especially being a mom to a toddler. The features are AMAZING and what you get for the money!!! Wow, this is actually nicer than the Rec Center's equipment that I used.
I like the feel of the treadmill. The belt is very well cushioned to give a smooth walk/run. The fan is not very powerful but a nice feature to have.
Assemble was time consuming but the instructions were easy to follow. All in all a good buy for the buck.

I got this treadmill just over a week ago. I've been on it 4 times since getting it, running/walking 3 miles each time and it runs great! I wanted something that could keep me in shape and was durable, but didn't want to spend too much money on it, the 570 is exactly that. I love that I can hook my ipod up to it, and the fan keeps me cool. It took my husband about 45 minutes to set the treadmill up. Great product for the price!
I ordered this treadmill 06/24/09. It was available for pick up (site-to-store) 07/06/09. This unit is to replace our basic ProForm model we've been using since summer 2002. After a lot of use by a couple of not-so-petite people, the belt starting slipping and the motor began shutting down intermittently.
The belt on this new unit is four inches wider and six inches longer. It's also much larger and better looking than our old treadmill. The appearance is very sharp and the extra features of a built-in MP3 speaker and fan are really nice. The price is very fair, even with the 2 hours of "sweat equity" it took for patient assembly. The instructions are clear, but our middle-aged eyes would have appreciated larger print. This should :) get daily use for a total of 1 to 2 hours for walking. Living in St. Louis sometimes prohibits outdoor walking due to extreme weather. We've found that focusing on the treadmill helps us avoid excuses. Thus far I would highly recommend this model.
Overall it's a good product for the price;however, mine came damage, found a piece of metal when open box but didn't know where it came from, assemble product and could not find and visible damage so I assume it might been from the factory, well ran good for a few days then the belt started slipping to the right. followed instructions in manual for adjusting belt, and work fine, then again belt sliped to the right again, and adjusted according to directions, then I heard a noise coming from the left back of the belt, the frame had broken, there was a chunk of metal missing, return it to the store with no problems and was given a refund right away. So I reordered another one, jury still out on that one.
I ordered this treadmill online not knowing what to expect. I must say I am pleasantly surprised, so far. I've only had it up and going for about a week. It has several preprogrammed workouts for weightloss, aerobic, endurance, and performance where the speed and incline are adjusted automatically while you walk. It also has the audio jack to plug in your MP3 player. The built in fan is really nice, helping you stay cool while walking. It seems nice and sturdy. It also has a heart rate monitor but as with other lower priced treadmills it doesn't seem very accurate. It isn't too noisy as treadmills go. Fold's up and down easily for storage. I would definitely recommend it to anyone just starting out.

Ok so I researched this product before I bought it. I found several websites that BASHED this product as worthless, but reviews on walmart were good SOOO I went ahead and bought it. Now They have those displays of their products, you know? Weslo looked pitiful compared to the others but I couldn't afford the more expensive ones and figured if I didn't like it I could bring it back! That was about a month ago. I use it everyday for at least 30 minutes (an hour today) at 2.5mph. I'm a total couch potato so I'm slow! Anyway The incline makes my legs burn within the first 5-10 minutes. So I had to take the incline off and just walk straight. I can easily walk for a half hour to an hour and could probably do more if I didn't get bored. Ah yes the bordom factor! Luckily I own a laptop and found a board that fit perfectly across the bars (I guess ur spose to hold on to these bars?) and I play games on my laptop while I walk, or watch a movie. Now I know someone out there is wondering how much I weigh! SO I'll tell ya, I'm 5'2 and I weigh 200lbs! I'm 24 years old, female. 2 years ago I only weighed 130lbs. But I got lazy. I don't eat a lot I just don't really move... I lay in bed ALL DAY. People say this thing is loud? But I don't think so. Some people are concerned about it being flimsy? it's made of metal! I haven't run on it yet because well, I don't have the lungs for that yet but my husband (whose a stick btw) ran on it and got tired and said he felt a work out. (He's not lazy like me either) So I COULD have bought the fancier one but I'm figuring I get the same effect on my "cheap" treadmill so I feel like I saved money and got a bargain. This thing goes to 10mph, hubby tried it and got thrown off haha. THe display is easy to read, heart rate monitor I'm not so sure that's accurate but everything else seems about right. I like to watch the "track" and picture myself going around that track. It's too hot here to go walking outside. (I live in south texas weather station says not to go outside for more than 5 minutes if you don't have to due to the heat) At any rate I do love this product and DO think it's WELL WORTH the money. I sleep better because I'm actually DOING something instead of laying in bed watching tv all day. My back doesn't hurt anymore and my body just feels better. Besides if you don't like it just return it! Don't lose your receipt. People have different opinions and experiences. I happen to love this thing. Double thumbs up. I'm going to start making more of an effort to walk at least 2 miles a day and add some lipo-6 pills and lose some weight. Hope my review has helped someone out there.
After much research of different brands I selected Weslo Cadence. It arrived in 1 week and having assembled a treadmill before I had it all put together in 2 hours, by myself. Runs great and isnt any louder than any other treadmill I've used. I am particularly impressed with the display panel. Everything is clear and concise and I can even see the display without my glasses!!! Is the perfect treadmill for my needs.
Sometimes products come in bad packages which clouds the judgement of the actual product itself. I ordered my treadmill "ship-to-store" and when my husband and I loaded it in the car, no bumps or bruises of course and got it home, put it in the garage, opened it the front part was cracked and battered. It still works ok for now, some of the places that required screws etc were not measured correctly so my husband had to go the extra mile putting it together. But am I pleased with the product it meets my expectation and would I recommend buying it? Yes, if you can purchase it in the store and check it for cracks or breaks before you leave.

Me and My Wife use it every-day. I've read some reviews that state the motor is too loud, Me and the Wife both agree that the motor is very quiet.
Putting it together is a little tricky but just take your time and read the manual. This treadmill does not come with a fan, But all you have to do is buy a clamp-on fan which you can buy very very cheap.
All in all--If you need a treadmill---Buy It...

My fiancι and I bought this treadmill as a gift for ourselves for Christmas. It has bypassed both of our expectations. I did my research and this treadmill appeared to be the best bang for my buck. It is very quiet compared to other treadmills. I would recommend this treadmill to all ages and sizes. I walk on it for 2 to 3 hours at a time and it has never gotten hot. My fiancι is not tiny and he runs as full speed on the treadmill and loves it! I would recommend this treadmill to my both my college friends and grandparents! We thought about buying the treadmill pad that goes under the treadmill but i'm glad we didnt. The cord is kinda short and that should be taken into consideration before you decide were you want to put it. Also, I read a bunch of the reviews before hand and was scared it was going to be to difficult to put together by ourselves, but it was really easy and we had it assembled in about 35 mins. Overall great buy!
This was an outstanding purchase! The machine is so easy to work with and I love it! It doesn't take up very much room when down and little to no room when upright in the storage position. I am really impressed with the programing also. Haven't found anything wrong with the machine yet......
There seems to be a lot of fuss about assembly ... and although it's not easy to assemble solo, it's not impossible either. It took me (a 21 year old that has no idea where my windshield washer fluid goes in my car) about 2 hours to do it on my own. A Phillips Screwdriver is the only addtional tool needed. This treadmill is incredibly easy to fold up, and there is a latch that holds it upright so no need to worry about it getting bumped and falling.
The incline is a bit noisy but it takes all of five seconds to adjust. The heart rate monitor isn't the most accurate but I'll live with that because it is relatively inexpensive and I feel a great product for the price. I don't use the fan, but I'm about 5'2'' and it blows right over my head unless I am fairly close to the console.
All in all, I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a decent treadmill at a great price!
After months and months of researching for a perfect treadmill without wanting to spend thousands of dollars or even over 500 dollars on something you can just walk outside for free! I read many reviews and BTW thanks everyone for your reviews they have helped me out tremendously! But I was trying to research many treadmills and read ratings and I was kind of skeptical on buying this one because it didnt look as durable! But it works just fine! I love it! I've had it since March 09 which was what 3 months ago? And from March to the end of May I have already lost 25lbs! Thats with a fairly healthy diet and working out 3-4 times a week! Its incredible! I watch my favorite shows that I TiVO for about 30 mins a day while working out and it keeps me busy! But I do have to admit I am kind of bored of it now but I wont be for long because I've found fun treadmill work outs online to keep me going! The noise is kind of loud and annoying as you increase speed and incline but if you turn up your tv then your fine! My TV wont go as loud but it depends on what type of show I'm watching and what channel! Some channels do have louder volume than others! Overall, I love it and I would rate it a 4 1/2 only because of the noise problem! Everything else is perfect! Oh and also the heart rate monitor which is useless to me! But the Weight loss workouts are too hard for me considering the most I can do is 4mph or 5mph! If anyone wants a cheap treadmill that does the same thing an expensive one does this is the treadmill to pick if you can handle the loud noise! :) Hope this helps everyone out!

We got it home and put it together. Was pretty easy to read the directions, but mostly went by the images. It is working just like it says and we are really enjoying it. You start out easy and work your way up and walk for as long as you want. My husband is large and he is already practically running in just 2 weeks! The machine holds the weight.
I did a lot of research on various treadmills and this one came out on top. The price is excellent and the quality is as good as those twice as expensive! I am 280 lbs. so I had to find a treadmill that would hold over 250 (which is tough to find). My wife and I use it daily and it is quiet enough to run on full speed with a sleeping baby right above us. The fan is a great feature! It is very heavy duty and the shock absorber is also nice since I have had multiple knee and ankle surgeries. This treadmill is a great buy! I used site-to-store and it came within a week. It is very heavy and you will need two people to get it inside, but the quality is well worth it! I highly recommend this product.
This is an excellent treadmill for anyone looking to walk. I use it everyday for walking only. This is NOT sturdy enough for running. If you are planning to use this for running you will want to save your money to buy a more expensive model that can withstand the force.
The pulse feature is definitely not close to being accurate. If you want to keep track of your pulse, buy a heart rate monitor.
It folds up nicely and can be moved if necessary. It is a bit louder than I had anticipate, but no complaints for the price... and the fan is a nice feature... regardless of noise.
From the moment I started assembling this treadmill I could tell it was excellently designed. My wife read to me the instructions as I put the unit together.(Real Teamwork) The fan worked great and has 3 speeds. The higher fan speeds were a bit noisy. The treadmill itself was less noisy than my old Precor. It performed flawlessly. I highly recommend it to anyone. Terrific Treadmill and a wonderfull price.

Works great for the price.
When I read reviews I was concerned about the sturdiness of the machine but it is very sturdy, does not wobble regardless of speed. I was also concerned with the width of the side rails but my feet fit just fine as do my husbands.
Good:
-belt is very smooth
-not as loud as I read, comparable to gym quality machines
-assembly direction very well written
-durable
-speed increases/decreases rapidly when needed
Bad:
-heart rate monitor not accurate (although most machines that have this device rarely are)
-display panel a bit darker than most
-display panel looked really "plastically" at first but once it was assembled and used it works very well
Tips:
When setting up you really do need two people. Don't get over anxious about tightening the bolts until the directions say to and DO NOT remove any of the twist (not zip) ties-they are there for a specific reason. There are a couple of white zip ties that need to be removed before you place the panel on the machine (the directions did not say anything about them).
Overall this machine works very well. Having experience with many gym treadmill this one works in a comparable manner. I use it for running on but works really well for walking too.
I would recommend this treadmill to any-one.
Me and My Wife use it every-day. I've read some reviews that state the motor is too loud, Me and the Wife both agree that the motor is very quiet.
Putting it together is a little tricky but just take your time and read the manual. This treadmill does not come with a fan, But all you have to do is buy a clamp-on fan which you can buy very very cheap.
All in all--If you need a treadmill---Buy It...
After much research of different brands I selected Weslo Cadence. It arrived in 1 week and having assembled a treadmill before I had it all put together in 2 hours, by myself. Runs great and isnt any louder than any other treadmill I've used. I am particularly impressed with the display panel. Everything is clear and concise and I can even see the display without my glasses!!! Is the perfect treadmill for my needs.

I didn't have much money to spend on a unit, so I decided to go w/ the manual. I am extremely happy with it. Another reason I chose the manual was because I have 2 boys 3 & 5 and was concerned about the safety of having a powered one. It has proved to be very safe around the boys. Assembly was no problem at all. Great workout..I had to adjust the tension and get the oil smoothed out real good to get it just right. I am also able to jog on it which was a plus. Extremely pleased with the purchase & would recommend!
At first by looking at the instructions it looked really difficult to put together. But it was very easy to get together. It does not take up much space at all which is perfect. The first setting for incline is a little higher than i expected but it works out perfect. I am getting more of a workout with it. Thank you so much for the great product.
This treadmill is much better than I had expected. I get a great workout and noticed positive results quite quickly.
Got this for my bday from my parents since I needed to loose weight to fit in my wedding dress. Was very easy to put together, LCD works great, and does it's job! Plus I feel that I get more of a work out because of the fact that it has no motor! And I save on my electric bill!
